Call For Entries for I Remember Alan Show
Alan Farkas at work.
Theme:
Alan Farkas was a member or ASMPWNY and past chapter president who
succumbed to cancer last year. Our chapter is organizing a photography
print show as a tribute to Alan Farkas, as well as a fundraiser for his
daughter’s future education. The exhibition will consist of Alan's
images, chapter member’s submitted work, and submissions of Alan’s
professional colleagues subject to review. Member’s work will be
labeled as ASMP members. All submitted images will be on sale.
Size:
All artworks must be at least 11x14 and no larger than 32 x 26 black
wood framed size. Photographers may submit up to five images. The artwork submission formmust be included with all donated artworks.
Sale Prices:
All pieces that will be donated will be sold for $150 to $250 to go to
a scholarship for Alan’s daughter. Work will be priced according to
size. Any works not sold by August 31, 2009 will be returned to the
photographer
Submission Deadline:
7/31/09 – 8/3/09 Due date for work
8/5/09 – 8/31/09 Work Exhibited at Booksmart Studio
8/7/09 – Show opening reception from 6:00pm – 9:00pm
